What We DoBefore we offer any proposal quotation we offer a market forecast, whereby we take your information, profile/invoices/data and talk with prospective new suppliers to better understand what opportunities you have from a financial perspective should you change. We will ONLY offer our clients a proposal quotation if we believe there to be real benefit in changing and you can at least save twice our carriage fee [as detailed in our double fee guarantee]. Therefore in simple terms you get a market mini review free of charge with no obligation before you commission us to undertake the project and implement our processes.
The structureWe use our structured project methodology which a summary is detailed below:-
Customer >>> TCS >>> CarrierWe review your distribution process, understand your business and meet with your team to better understand how this process effects all the people involved in the chain, we really get under the skin of what you do. We understand how your business operates, how important your distribution network is to your customers and to your profit. Once we have completed this review, we then meet with your current supplier(s) to understand how they manage your business and how they work with you, in short we review your business to enable us to provide a solution.
Pre-tender summaryAfter the initial stages we put together a summary of our findings and recommendations. Then we create a tender that is issued to a number of parties, including your current supplier(s). We then manage the distribution and reponses, meeting with potential suppliers, including looking at KPI’s contracts and service level agreements. We then come back to you with a shortlist of proposals [no more than three] which are matched against our findings in the initial review. What you get are proposals that are what you need, rather than what the business offering them wants to sell you. In addition we provide a summary of cost showing all other expenses such as insurance claims and details for lost and damaged consignments.
RecommendationsOnce you accept our recommendations we will implement the changes using our structured project methodology. We then set in place the ongoing management of the supplier introducing the contract with the Key Performance Indicators. This element of our consultancy is known as maintenance and supports your contract with the supplier throughout the life of your agreement. MaintenanceAs part of maintenance a meeting with the supplier and your team as required is held on a regular basis, it has one objective which is to take the headache away of managing this part of your relationship. Another part of our service is dealing with cold calling, we will take and vet all prospective sales calls from alternative suppliers who try to contact you during the life of the agreement. This service is known as "middleman". Once you agree to implement the changes you start the maintenance programme which takes effect following the staged process, this allows us to manage the contract work with you for the duration of the agreement and manage the relationship between you and your supplier. please click here for more details |
