Who Are We?

The founders and directors of TCS Consultants are Scott & Lynette Shepherd, who have over 25 years combined experience in the logistics and distribution sector. Working with this experience and focussed specifically from a sales and marketing background, we have been able to understand the pressures behind winning new contracts and managing the relationships with both SME and blue chip corporate organisations. Lynette put the building blocks and foundations of the business together and Scott joined when the business was ready to bring his expertise to consultancy services.

Our senior management team includes Denise who manages our customer data flow and Ian creates and maintains our supplier agreements and adds the experience between the supplier and the customer. Both Ian and Denise have a combined 20 years experience in the express logistics market working for leading suppliers in that field.

Having a support structure behind the SMT allows us to also work across different categories of procurement with category buyers I.T specialists allow our salutations make a difference to our customer.

With our support team of expert individuals including finance, operational implementation, I.T. and administration we are able to deal with a significant range of services and customers able to undertake a number of projects concurrently.

Experience in the market

Working in senior positions for a number of national carriers and with continuous awards for new business achievements, excellence in working practices and two CEO’s awards for outstanding contribution to business Scott and Lynette have been directly involved in working with corporate clients who have requirements as diverse as shipping high value computer components through to water and soil sampling.

We are honest and hard working individuals who have seen an opportunity to deliver a real benefit for businesses who use services in this sector and believe that we have the experience to bring a new dimension to the way that contracts are negotiated.
